Abera Bioscience, a company with vaccine platforms for prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines today signed an agreement with Belgian company myNEO for collaboration within the neoantigen field. The companies will work closely together to assess compatibility and efficacy of the companies’ platforms. Both companies have expressed a desire to turn the agreement into a future commercial agreement.
myNEO is a biotech company that focuses on development and validation of neoantigen-driven cancer immunotherapies. myNEO has developed a patient-specific tumour screening platform for neoantigen identification, selection and prediction. The ImmunoEngine enables determination of immunogenic peptides uniquely presented on tumour cells of a patient which are then incorporated in a cancer vaccine, to stimulate the recognition of the tumour by the patients’ own immune system.
Abera Bioscience is a vaccine platform development company with a highly immunogenic platform enabling high density display of proteins, like antigens and neoantigens on the surface of bacterial-derived vesicles. With an efficient plug’n’play-like technology new vaccine candidates can be designed in a short time.

Abera Bioscience och myNEO tecknar strategiskt partnerskapsavtal inom individanpassade cancervaccin
Abera Bioscience, ett företag som utvecklar vaccinplattformar för profylaktiska och terapeutiska vaccin, har idag signerat ett avtal med det belgiska företaget myNEO om samarbete inom neoantigen-området. Bolagen kommer att initiera ett nära samarbete för att utvärdera kompatibilitet och effektivitet hos bolagens plattformar. Båda bolagen har uttryckt en önskan att samarbetet ska leda till ett framtida kommersiellt avtal.
myNEO är ett bioteknikföretag som fokuserar på utveckling och validering av neoantigen-drivna cancerbehandlingar. myNEO har utvecklat en patientspecifik tumörscreeningsplattform för att identifiera, välja ut och prediktera tumörspecifika neoantigen. Med ImmunoEngine kan man identifiera immunogena peptider som är unika för tumörceller hos varje enskild patient, dessa peptider kan sedan införlivas i ett vaccin för att stimulera det egna immunförsvarets igenkänning av tumören.
Abera Bioscience utvecklar vaccinplattformar och har en mycket immunogen plattform som gör det möjligt att dekorera ytan på bakteriella vesiklar (OMV) med stort antal proteiner, som antigen och neoantigen. Med en effektiv plug’n’play-liknande teknologi kan en vaccinkandidat skapas på mycket kort tid.
